Temporary Mancave YouTube Studio

Getting the man cave ready for youtube filming

So upon deciding to start a youtube channel I needed someplace to film. I think if you start off with a good studio you are halfway there. The other half is the content and we will deal with that later.

The spare bedroom I had been using for a while. Probably going to be one of the last rooms to decorate so a quick lick of paint and some new shelf should do the trick.

First a quick coat of white paint, stupidly I didn’t take a picture of this stage. Next, I picked up some timber for the shelves. Gave them a coat of wood stain and then some varnish. I Choose a few different widths as I wanted some for photos, some for toys and models and some for paints.

Next was putting the shelves up. I got these cool little steel shelf brackets that look really sweet and are pretty neat and tidy. I have tried to fit the shelves so that everything is at arms reach, just to make my life a little easier. Here are some pictures of them up.

added new shelves in the studio to hold all the tools and paints
I Have Fitted A Selection Of Different Size Shelves In The Studio To Keep Everything Close To Hand.

So now the shelves are up just time to fill them.

That’s the workstation pretty much sorted, the computer end of the desk has been cleaned, added some more ram to the computer for editing videos.

Old Desk cleaned up to be used as a computer workstation.
