MPM Productions 135th Volkswagen Typ 87 Step By Step Full Build

So with the VW Beetle being really the brainchild of Adolf Hitler it only seems fitting to build one of these little nazi bugs with an Afrika Korp flavour. The kit we are dealing with today is the MPM productions Volkswagen Typ 87, of course, it is in 1/35th scale. So here we go.

Models December 2019

A load of plastic Scale model kits finished this month. With the long Christmas break, I have been able to chill out at the workbench, watch some Star Trek and crack on with some unfinished projects. Also, a few Christmas presents and some new scale models get added to the stash.

Another Small Build, this time the Tamiya 7.5cm Antitank Gun Pak40/L46. With just 2 small sprues and a few figures, this should be quite a quick build. I will keep back the figures for later.

Tamiya 135th 20mm Flakvierling 38 Mit Sd.Ah.52 Step By Step Full Build

So I have picked up a few models based Flakvierling including the Flakvierling sd.kfz. 7 1 and the Möbelwagen. So I’m starting off with the basic model. Out the box, it looks to be quite a nice little build. There are a few flash lines but overall a nice casting.

I picked up this Tamiya 135th British Army 6 Pounder Anti-Tank Gun along with 2 German Anti-Tank guns on eBay for only £6. I thought they would be some nice quick builds for when I don’t have a lot of time on my hands.

Airfix 172nd Supermarine Spitfire MK1A Step By Step Full Build

I was out with The Sam at a local Kent festival, after we left she wanted to go to a vegan cake shop so I got dragged along. It just so happened that opposite the bakery was a model shop. So as you do, I popped in for a look. To be honest I didn’t really need anything but I like to support local model shops whenever I can. So I found this little 1/72nd scale Supermarine Spitfire MK.1a. Now I haven’t picked up an Airfix model in over 20 years so this should be a fun little project.

Hobby Boss 135th GCT 155mm AU-F1 SPH Based on T-72 Step By Step Full Build

Quite an interesting model. So this is the French GCT 155mm auf1 SPH but the unique thing is that it’s not on the standard amx hull, instead it sits on top of a T-72 Hull. This variation appears to only appear at an arms fair where they were trying to sell this variation to the Indian army. Can’t find too many pictures, also there are no decal markings as it is only a display model.
