Corona Chronicles Part 1

As scale modelling goes, it’s been a really weird year with everything going on with the Coronavirus. It has been an absolute nightmare for everyone. It should have given me a ton of free time to make models, which I have been doing to be fair, but I haven’t actually finished many models. I seem to just constantly start new projects. I think currently I have about 22 wips on the bench.

124th Scale Volkswagen Beetle Review And Comparison

I thought this would be quite a cool thing to do both for the blog and for youtube. I love the old VW beetle. I remember going to my great Aunts house when I was growing up and her sons yellow beetle was sitting on the driveway (he had emigrated to Australia but left the car there). I thought it was the coolest thing ever. I made the Tamiya model about 25 years ago so I thought I would get a new one to make. But times have changed and there are a few companies who have produced models in 1:24 scale. There are some reviews out there but I think the best thing to do is get one of each, put them side by side and see where we go from there.
